Is there a way to save last dying survivor?
Hello, I recently started playing RimWorld, and after an attack, I was left with one survivor laying in bed, with 10% consciousness. I didn´t know what to do, so I just waited. After couple minutes two travellers came to my house, and so I thought I was saved. But they just walked past my 7 dead colonists and also my last colonist who was dying in bed, but then they just walked away. Is there a way to survive that situation? Because them not helping wasn´t very realistic.

Thank you :D

Have them be a doctor and then turn on self tend, then select the colonist and right click on the colonist and select Prioritize tending to [name of colonist], then they will heal themselves. If they are incapable of being a doctor, then good luck
10% consciousness, he is probably not gonna wake up so no self tend.

Seems like your only escape is a luky wanderer or the man in black.

Not much you can do, wait and be patient (possibly for nothing) or start again and do better next time ^^

Also, if you feel like it you can always use the "debug" menu

Sounds like a situation which should trigger the "Man in black" event, but I'm not sure what the exact parameters are for it. (It's basically an event where a "man in black" joins your colony when everyone is downed, so you have a fresh pawn and can save the day. But it may only be able to happen fairly early game, not sure.)

Also, even if your last guy dies, that doesn't necessarily mean it's totally over. A random new colonist can show up and habitate your empty colony, and you can take it from there. Never did this myself, and apparently it can take a while, but if you like the map and the base you built up so far, it's a cool option instead of starting over.

You had 8 colonists and it looks like your last one will die of starvation.
Own your failure, remember it and learn from it.... Onwards to the next colony ;)
