I remember back when it's just Ideology and not Biotech that from experience, when 2 slaves fall in love and proposed, marriage never happens for around 3 in game years and they just broke up. Wondering if 1.4 is the same.
Might just be that the marriage event never triggered and then they broke up before it did.
Then again I dont play often enough with slaves to know for sure so. Maybe someone can call Astasia. They should know (probably).
though, the ceremony will play different for prisoners, if at all.
any child below the biological age of 3 (not capable to walk) will be seen as a plain normal baby and will be treated equally until they can walk... than you get the message were you can decide their future, regardless if the child was born to a colonist, slave or prisoner.
the two options are becoming a colonist or become a slave.
that means.. if you have a sole male colonist and a unwavering loyal female prisoner you can still add their genes to the colony by applying the wonders of IV fertilisation and implanting the result right back into the prisoner... or any other female that is good health and age.
is it morally? what on rimworld is?
is it a way to have an ever growing population? sure it is.
