More inspirations
We need more inspirations in the base game. Nothing like getting shooting frenzy on a melee pawn.

Inspired recruitment! when I already have so many nitwits running around they're all starving to death (although new member could be free food source).

Well I created an Inspired Conversion mod for people with Ideology. I agree though, there could be a few more "inspired cooking" or "inspired <insert job>" inspirations.
It seems like you're asking for appropriate existing inspirations linked to (high) skill rather than more inspirations. The existing ones are broad enough to cover a range of jobs.

Many inspirations are somewhat linked to skill, though the skill requirement is 3. So the system checks if it's realistic for them to do the thing before giving them that inspiration, but it's mostly meant to be random enough that you can't control it. More variety would just dilute the pool and make getting the best ones for a specific colonist less likely.

There's nothing stopping you from giving a melee colonist a gun if they get shoot frenzy, the bonus is large enough that they would be effective with it. And no, brawlers can't roll shoot frenzy.

You say that it's linked to a pawns skill and I think you might be right. You'll never get inspired taming once a pawn reaches lv10 animals just so you can't get that thrumbo that wandered in.

So your solution to the issue of not getting a perfect inspiration with perfect timing is to add more inspirations to the pool making it even less likely to get the one you want? Or was the original post sarcasm? I'm not sure I'm really following, but it's starting to feel more like a venting thread.

I get inspired taming all the time for 10+ skill trainers. Especially when there's nothing living in the wild on the map except squirrels or iguanas or something.

Yeah, my thrumbo farm is coming along quite nicely thanks to inspired taming. Plus they eat all the trees that might get in the way of my windmills.

I do want more inspirations. In the sense that I want more variety to what we currently have, not pertaining to any particular skill. However, It would be nice to *not* get inspired shooting on a pawn with 15 melee and 4 shooting.
