"Growth Moment" don't activate
So my Saurid child is 12y and 58d with level 8 Growth Tier, left the game for a while and came back when she was 13y and 2d without "Growth Moment"-event triggered. Reload a few times, but it still does not get triggered. No message ether about her becoming an adult. Nothing in the "Messages/Event"-history.

The event worked as normal in the same colony earlier for her and her 4 siblings.

I am using an insane amount of mods, but as mentioned it worked earlier (Yesterday irl).

Is there any changes in any mod which conflict the "Growth Moment"-event from getting triggered lately?
Has this happened to you too?

don't have a save from before it happened? That's the savest bet. (other then that you can always install the Character Editor mod and give him what you would have picked for him, you could roll for traits to pick from but that's your decision)

Maybe the message went away when you didn't respond to it in time. Also maybe the pawn got 'auto-assigned' when you didn't respond in time. Did you check whether he actually changed from before?

As mentioned in the post my man...

Strange, must be a mod conflict somewhere then most likely.

I still recommend you try and fix it with character editor if its too much trouble to try and pinpoint the exact mod thats at fault.

Also don't saurids have different aging mechanics? Maybe they mature at a different age? I don't know how the mechanic is programmed for either growth moments or saurids but it might be related to that ... or did your other saurids mature properly?

Thanks for the reply my man, glad you're trying!

Because this is in a on-going colony of 6 years, I am not sure "Character Editor" is an option. It's only before "the crash", am I right?

I was also thinking it might be cause they are all Saurids, but they are ageing up like humans, 7, 10 and 13. And it all worked when she was 7 and 10, and her siblings are +7 at this moment and it all worked as normal before.

Strange, I looked into saurids and they don't have other aging mechanics, I was just a little confused with their whole egg laying mechanic.

If you do find out which caused it, would be mighty nice if you posted it here as an update for future generations of lost souls (and / report the issue to the mod authors involved)

I surely will do mate. I find this a "serious" problem as "Growth-Moment"-event is from the base-game-DLC and not from a mod. And I get it if mods having a conflict, but not as something basic as this from the base-game-DLC events. then something big is going wrong.

I'll keep you guys posted.

If you have humanoid alien races installed that would be my first guess. That changes the aging mechanics to allow for different species to have different growth stages, and I believe it still has a number of issues with Biotech. Just as a random example of something that it could have done and would not surprise me, is your "saurid" child could have been randomized when it popped out of the egg because of HAR, resulting in an "alien species" with different growth stages and a saurid xenotype applied on top of it.

There are a number of other things that could have broken it though, anything that touches skills, passions or traits could have bugged out the growth window and prevented it from showing up. Load the save from before the "birthday" and run it until after the pawn is over 13, then check the log to see if any error happened when they turned 13 that prevented the growth moment from triggering.

As far as Character Editor, by default it can be opened at any stage of the game to edit any pawn you want, so it's a great way to fix issues like this if you can't figure out the cause, or if the cause is something you don't want to remove.

I am going to look up what you're mentioned in the post.

I do have "Humanoid Alien-Race-mod installed" indeed.

But for more information, when she turns 13, the "Growth-Tire" disappear completely and she remove her child-cloths for adult-cloths. Like the game did, in fact, recognise her as adult by that point.

I don't think it might be it as she + her 4 siblings have been ageing up as normal at age 7 & 10, with choosing traits + passions.

I am open for any suggestion and to try anything!

Then it was probably the second thing with something else causing the growth window to bug. This could have been like a randomly rolled modded trait being invalid, or an unexpected value on some other thing (like an incapability on a skill that was rolled or something). It's not uncommon for mods to break the growth window sometimes, though usually it just results in one of the fields being blank. I have a feeling it's mostly trait mods causing it, but it's not something I have ever reproduced myself.

Thanks for the reply mate!

I will try to post pictures here, so we get more evidence on the matter.

But just to say shortly: She has no limitations, she's a melee fighter. No incapable traits at all.

I've been trying to reload the game probably 10 times with the same result - NO - Growth Moment / Missy Became an Adult.
