I know that typically the other benches replace and take over the functionality of the crafting spot in various ways splitting off their production lines such as clothing to tailoring bench, weapons to smithing, etc.
However I am fairly sure I saw a 'crafting bench' (literally called that in the description, not the mod name itself) somewhere on the workshop that was vanilla looking and was just an upgrade to the crafting spot.
Problem is I tried googling for it but the term 'crafting bench' is so universally used for all the other benches that it frustratingly doesn't show up through google. Big oof.
For example, Outland - Core, has something similar, it has a 'basic workbench' that functions like a crafting spot but is the bench variant of it.

Problem being that it doesn't really look vanilla-esque enough for me.
