Start a game with your dude. Use God Mode to build a little village, add a few colonists. Done.
You can even write your own blurb for the opening narration.
One loaded in, you pause, turn on Dev mode, throw it in God Mode, and go ahead and build your hidden village with it's basics.
(With God Mode (the mask) turned on, you have access to all buildable objects, and when you place the "blueprint" it automatically builds it at no cost.
(Even orders to mine are done automatically for you)

I did that once in a Tribal start. I added an extra colonist of a custom race (Ratkins, basically a mouse girl) who was an intellectual.
I then adjusted the opening narration to includes that they later "found a wandering refugee. Who, in return for your group's assistance, gladly gifted you with her knowledge from the stars."
Admittedly, if I'd had Biotech back then, the scenario would've been more intriguing, with them eventually getting knowledge of how to create the "metal demons" and control that power themselves.
