Vanilla psycasts expanded not working
colonists will level up and gain psylink but psycasts wont show up in the colonist hud.
tried hediff remover to fix it but nothing seems to work

updated to 1.4 today and this seems to be the only mod messing up for me as far as i know
i just wanna know how to fix this

Forgive me if im incorrect but it sounds like your expecting the colonist to automatically gain a psycast power when they gain a psylink/level-up, thats not how the mod works.
Your pawns should have a psycast tab you can now view with psycast skill trees.

no the tab for psycasts does not show up, ive used the mod for as long as its been around i know how it works. problem is the tab does not show up even after theyve gained a psylink.

It looks like your version of RimWorld is not up to date, that could be the cause. Your version is 1.4.3563, the current live version is 1.4.3704. Both Vanilla Expanded Framework and Vanilla Psycasts Expanded are generating errors that look like they could be version related.

In your RimWorld "betas" option select "opt out" to use the latest version of the game, the listed 1.4 versions are old and they are being kept as betas because there were mechanical changes to the game since then that broke some mods/saves.

Is anybody else still having this issue? It's becoming quite a problem for me.

EDIT: I had a look at the log in the opening post. It seems to be an issue with caching. This leads me to believe that clearing vanilla expanded's graphics cache could theoretically work. Going to try that now.

Here from the future. I had exactly the same problem. So what was happening was that my game and the mods (vanilla expanded framework and vanilla psycasts expanded) were not all the same version. Downloaded the same version for each of this and it worked. :steamhappy:
