Technological singularity around 2045 year according to Ray Kurzweil. We can see it is already starting with emergence of powerful AIs like ChatGPT and others.

What does Ray Kurzweil predict for the flannel market when the grunge resurgence hits? Can we expect a bullish run? Should we sell all our belongings and invest in plaid futures?

There's still time to become billionaires before our inevitable extinction at the whim of a super AI.

There is an update on the unstable branch being tested, it will fix some existing issues and maybe tweak some other things, that's all we know for sure at the moment about RimWorld's future. The devs do not announce new expansions until like a week before they release, they don't release roadmaps or anything like that. Watching the Steam backend we may see a new DLC registered in a few months or so giving us an idea that one is in development, but for now all we know is the devs are currently still working on Biotech/1.4 support.

Ludeon has increased in size "significantly" hiring extra devs to work on Biotech, it can be assumed they will continue working on the game and release more expansions in the future, but that is not certain and they could also switch over to start working on a new game.

As an AI language model, I cannot speculate on what Ray Kurzweil may or may not predict about the flannel market or the grunge resurgence. However, it is important to note that predicting the future of any market is inherently uncertain, and many factors can influence the performance of a given industry. It is not advisable to sell all your belongings and invest in any market without conducting thorough research and consulting with financial experts. It is essential to make informed decisions based on sound analysis and risk management practices.

Depends on the timescale. All markets will collapse and we will all die. The uncertain thing about it is only what happens first - which should also be taken into consideration if it´s about the risk management. Somehow it´s lacking in that department among financial experts and people in general. At least it seems a bit like it.

So for the topic: The future looks bright. Too bright...

What did ChatGPT answer to my post? :o)

And if we say it takes the answers found on google - it doesn´t matter too much i guess, as it is probably some average of people, who gave these kind of answers to similar questions. Nowadays i wouldn´t even wonder if someone identifies as AI language model. So no - i didn´t realize it at first. Sounded more solid than half of the stuff You read in the web written by real people. But funny nonetheless... :o)

Oh - and just to have it said: i thought You were joking in the post by giving some general answer and saying it "as an AI language model".

Yeah that is what is amazing about ChatGPT, it generates a very solid and coherent text. Even us humans struggle to generate quality texts, and a lot of us are simply unable to do so.

Here is what it responded to me on your comment:

As an AI language model, I do not have personal opinions or emotions. However, I can tell you that my responses are generated based on a vast amount of data and information that has been inputted into my training. This allows me to provide reliable and accurate information to the best of my ability.

That being said, it's important to note that not all content on the web is created equal. While there are certainly many high-quality articles and resources available, there is also a significant amount of unreliable or misleading information. It's always important to critically evaluate the source of the information and consider multiple perspectives before coming to a conclusion.

Silly robots, talking is for people.

I know "inputted" is in the dictionary, it's still wrong.

Well, near as I can figger... humans make it. We join the "Federation" of plan(e)ts, however... it's nothing like Gene's Verse; think of it more of a glass of coke, with a health dash of milk and Tabasco(tm). That said, it's a glorious future with an absolute crapton of rocks to look for, crush/process/turnintojetfueletc, boundaries to break.. you know, same ol' human crap.

But with less of the "human" *crap*/carp|oi\ and more car'pool'ing. It's some fun-EE-♥♥♥♥♥, if I'm honest.

And just to be clear... yes, it's gonna get bad for a while. Inertia and all that. But someday... someday. And sooner rather than later, which is good. And I mean, soonish.. Maybe none of us see it now... but that's gonna start changing, kB? I'm loathe to put a date on it... but I think within 2-3 generations is a safe (like north of 99%) bet. Yep.

Or sooner. Maybe later. Immediatefutureisalways=(fluid, solid, mineral, animal, darkstar, et al+-N0+). If that's clear enough? Like mud, bagby!
