Fixing a frail torso
Hey there!

So, one of my pawns got a nice birthday present - a frail torso. With all the new stuff in the game and updates and whatnot: What are the possibilities of fixing that?
Pretty sure Healer Mech Serum would do the trick, but that stuff is about as common as chickens teeth... Would Luciferium work? Some of the Transhumanist doodaas? I could turn him into a sanguophage, but in my current colony only a very few select "inner circle" people get to become those...

Any suggestions?

Bionic spine? (Idk if it's vanilla bionic or modded, tbh)

I think you can fix that with a bioregeneration cycle on a biosculpter, but you'll need some glittermeds for that (and the research and the dlc).

Beyond that, I think healer mech would work... I don't know about Luci, never used her. Or Sang either (that's my next run).

i like to use the biosculpter pod Bioregeneration cycle for this.

Transhumanists will always have the precept Biosculpting: Accelerated, which halves the time for each cycle.

its a good idea to keep pawns under 50 to prevent these type of age related problems from occurring when possible.

Thanks for the suggestions! I guess I'll try the bioregeneration cycle. I currently have a sanguophage focused colony and don't want to get into the transhumanist meme too much but maybe I'll stumble upon a healer mech serum along the way.

Bionic spine only works for the bad back, he already has one of those... Ah, the joys of getting old on the rim.

you could always use luci for it as well

Bionic spine works for Bad back but not for Frail.

I thought luci only cured scars and the like, not age-related issues?

I tend to not have colonists on luci, but in this case it might make sense, especially if you only have 1 colonist on it. It also provides buffs and you can freeze colonist in Cryptosleep casket in an emergency if you ran out somehow.

Nice! I never had a colonist on luci... guess there is a first time for everything!

LOL. The Luci wiki page is kinda funny.

"Luci is permanent condition."

'Yea, but what if I...'

"No. That won't work."

'Ok, but there's this...'

"Again, that won't work. What part of permanent are you not getting?"

'Core concept?'

My Labrador retrievers sometimes get into my luci stash and then they haul stuff and reproduce like crazy. probably a good idea to keep your stash safe from pets.

how do you keep your pawns from running out? even when I play agressivly and raid other factions I still never find enugh to make more than one or at most 2 pawns sign the devils contract.

I would guess they make use of the fact that you can administer it to raiders and release them hoping they will return with some more. Or a mod that allows it to be crafted or the traders that usually carry it come more often.

If even chemical trait people don't use them on their own, why would dogs? Or are you joking?
