How to return the colonist to normal? (if he went wild)
in general, backstory, my colonist had a nervous breakdown due to which he went wild.
He could have escaped and I arrested him. But for some reason I can’t tame, because the colonist has no food. Although there is food, and he is fed in prison.

Oh wait! I know this one!!! It's happened to me a few different times... and always feel like 'duh' afterward. Here's the deal. Since he was a colonist, he has a diet set for him. Therefore he's prolly set to eat meals, and not raw corn (et al). So you wanna make sure his diet is set to something that includes berries, kibble, whatever your tamers usually tame with...

if you captured him, check the prisoner tab and you should be able to recruit him again.

I only have three buttons.

1. Do not make contact
2. Release
3. Execute

Run wild means they are now an animal, animals need to be tamed. Once tamed a wild human will become normal.

Yea, but on the Health tab of the pawn.. it should show it's diet...? If it doesn't... then draft your best social guy, and arrest the pawn. Once he's in prison, then you can definitely set his diet. Once he's in prison, you can still tame him and feed him and keep him safe.

I would like to ask one more question, how can I increase the taming chance? 16% is very low

Well, I think it's strictly your animal skills in general, but I couldn't tell you that for certain as it applies to a wild pawn like that. But with animals, it's just your animal skills. I've got some really good animal pawns right now.. and I'd bet they'd get maybe 40ish percent (if I'm remembering correctly). Best thing is just tame, tame, tame, tame... then tame some more. Many creatures you tame will need more training (more xp) or sheering/milking (more xp and stuff!).

If you're really attached to that pawn.. build a special prison for him. Stick him in there and take care of him until your animal skill is better? Maybe run to town and buy an animal skill trainer...
