I think it's on their needs or health page, above the learning bar they'll have 2 symbols which show which activities the child is interested in (you can hover over those for more information).
the only two learning types that require any special set up are:
Class Learning: You need a desk with 2 chairs and up to 3 chalk boards in range. (you can add additional desks if there's multiple children that need lessons). If an adult is assigned to child-care and available, they'll come and give lessons when a child needs educating which gives the child xp in a random available skill. (an adult isn't necessary for learning fulfillment but you're missing out on the extra skill xp. Teaching trains Social skill for adults).
Radio-Talking: Requires a powered Com Console.
the other learning types don't have any particular requirements beyond needing access to outdoors for a few of them.
