gauranlen seed cant plant

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what. I just got this DLC so I'm sorry if it's obvious.

I found a Gauranlen pod, and harvested a seed from it. But I didn't want to plant it in the spot that it spawned in, but now I don't know how to plant it.

Select the seed and you should see an option to plant it, click that and then click where you want it.

Yep, it functions like installing a piece of furniture that is already built and has been uninstalled.
