1 out of 5 colonists will eat meat.
New to ideology and can't figure out why 4 out of my 5 colonist's dislike meat. I started out with one on a custom premade scenario with 1 pawn and slowly captured and changed their ideologys to match my starting pawns. So, I would assume they'd like the same food then?

I dunno, what responses did you get in the thread you just deleted? I didn't get a chance to read it.

I deleted it and reposted it cause it was posted in frustration. So it was kinda confusing to some people and needed a little more explanation it seems.

Noice. That was literally too much.
Had to be a little more specific for people like you. Also my fault in making a confusing post. We can move on.

(And I already answered the damn question, you putz.)

Not really. Because you trying to be a smart ass was confusing. So can we be civil and discuss this? I admitted my first post was made out of my frustration.

yeah this post is a lot less confusing than last post, but you still need to post your modlist and your ideology loadout. For your mod list just upload and share your debug log.

Growl. Still tho. I did answer your question, you literally just didn't like my joke.

Yes, the scenario sounds like a PITA. And frankly you're kinda silly for using it as an intro to Ideo... The scenario sounds like it intentionally set you in that position, to make it more difficult. Cuz without three pawns of the same ideo, you can't appoint a 'priest'... so the only way you have to convert your people is literally arrest them one-by-one and put them in prison... once there, you can force them into converting... then you'd have to have to re-recruit them. And they're still gonna be pissed about eating meat... so expect them to break down/out.

Or you could try to actually to make them meals they want... and figure out a way to make enough to suit them all. Good luck. Putz.
Apparently you didn't reread the new post. Or at least you kinda did. I already converted everyone to the SAME ideology. I already have a priest.
What kind of meat is it? Does your ideology have a revered animal? What are your ideology rules on eating? Is your starting colonist a cannibal? Are you using any mods?

Just any meat, lizard meat, chinchilla meat, snake meat, etc. No revered animal for my ideology and starting colonist ideology views cannibalism as acceptable. I am using a good bit of mods. I'm going to look into them as a start.
The reason I asked about the cannibal trait is not because I assumed you were feeding them human meat. There is a precept that makes meat eating disliked by members of the ideology, colonists with the cannibal trait ignore this and will eat meat regardless.

From what I can tell it seems to be anything that hasn't been turned into a meal. Fine meal, lavish meal, etc.
Almost everyone always dislikes eating raw meat, that is normal. People with the ascetic trait or xenos with the Robust Digestion gene (standard on pigs) will eat raw food without complaint though.

Gotcha, Thank you. This answers my question.
