I like to build a full wall around my settlement, hit 'em with a few mortar shots and then do one of those animal pulses. It was hilarious earlier... watched squirrels and raccoons and everything taking down a centipede. Note: don't do that when there's a friendly caravan on your map, and also you need to 'wake' the bots up first otherwise the animals won't attack 'em.
I had to pop my soothe pulsar to deal with it. The critter army sounds hilarious though.
Yea, I came to that exact conclusion a few runs ago, after I lost my best shooter (more than once) to those lances. Shiver... those are brutal. Mortar isn't "needed" too many other places, but it is in those...
Yea, it is fun to watch the animal army come to your rescue, and quite useful too. Think of all that free meat!
