RimWorld

[Question] Can't butcher Thrumbo's.
So earlier today I hunted down and acquired two Thrumbo bodies, each very much intact.

However, attempting to butcher them just leads to me butchering other corpses. If I try to set the butcher table to just Thrumbo's, it still doesn't register, saying that I lack a corpse to butcher.

I expanded my storage to have enough space for the meat, and having butchered Megasloths before I know it can hold the materials.

Anyone know what might be the problem? If so, any help is appreciated.

Do you have Ideology, and are Thrumbos considered a venerated animal?

No DLC's, just regular RimWorld. Have a few mods, but just for UI and Camera stuff, nothing that affects anything major.

Are they rotting? Only other thing I can think of, as long as they're accessible to the butcher.

Just making sure...Are the corpses forbidden?

No, always haul bodies back ASAP, usually go for the kill at base so there's no worries of rotting.

No dice, double checked, but I couldn't have got them in my freezer otherwise. Fresh as well, so not sure what's up.

Is your butcher zoned in a place that doesn't include their corpses ?

If they had Scaria they can commence rotting immediately, just a heads up. Sufficiently high toxic exposure can do the same.

It's right down from my cold storage, to make sure I can get meat refrigerated in time. I usually butcher corpses stored in there, never had this issue before.

I launched to check, no rotting, illness, missing parts, nothing. One had Asthma and the other had artery blockage, but I swear I've butchered animals with worse before.

Alright, I figured it out I think. Didn't have "Butcher Large Corpse" clicked. Odd that that's what it was, I've butchered Megasloths before.

I just set my table to butcher everything and never bother with its bills again
