Cannot Not Mine Because Roof Would Collapse

is there a way to disable this behavior for pawns? It is really annoying and honestly is making the game unfun. I already have pillars and walls in place to prevent collapse, yet the game insists that I don't and yet the roof doesn't collapse when I force mine the wall

disable the mod doing this. the base game doesn't give a F about roofs falling on your miners.

I didn't know if this was mod or base game, I'll look through the mod settings

Vanilla loves not giving you a warning when you're about to cause a collapse in ontop of your own miners ... so definitely a mod that is preventing this.

Did you figure out which mod is doing this? I thought it was veinminer but it's not.

it is indeed that mod. I didn't realize that was a thing within the mod and assumed it was implemented into base game after Biotech was released
