"Considered Guilty" doesn't last long enough...
At the end of my last messy battle, I ended up tending one of the attackers and then capturing him. But after keepin' my colonists up waaaaaay past their bedtimes, snatchin' all the decent weapons before they melted in the rain, and repairing my fences/walls (and eating, sleeping, etc)... I couldn't find a time when the nearly-dead prisoner was awake when my colonists were, and the timer for executions ran out.

I guess my question is, if one the main reasons for executions is the mood bump you get (which you really could use after a messy battle)... shouldn't that timer be more than... what? 24 hours?

On a related note... I triggered an animal pulse (driving all the animals crazy, *very* effective that), and before the invaders actually invaded, four Thrumbos stumbled into my map. All the commotion scared them into my compound... and I actually got my walls repaired. So I've got *four* untamed Thrumbos walled up for taming! Such dumb luck!

If you have respected if guilty execution you can just have a warden execute them the instant they are captured (no ritual required), and then ritually execute a different prisoner later for the ritual buff (they don't have to be guilty). Those are basically two entirely different things.

The ritual is more for executions that ignore the guilty tag, or for use with the leader's trial ability. The guilty timer is intentionally restrictive here, you are fairly unlikely to get a freshly captured raider ready for an execution ritual before the guilty timer is up, I doubt this is an oversight. I would say don't pick executions are horrible if innocent if you want to be able to effectively use execution rituals, and otherwise the guilty tag doesn't really matter.

guilty should really last for at least 72 hours imho or hell ... 7 days.

I second that, should last few days minimum.
