How do I do that?
Even more basic you could probably stick them in a freezer or heater and kill them that way, without risking destroying the corpse.
I'm asking for the change in the interest of improving the game for my sake, not to fix an exploit.
it was the will of the Rim Gods that this sacred Creature blessed your colony with its sacrifice against the unholy mechanoids.
i don't even play with this sacred creature nonsense (everything that moves on 4 legs or lays eggs is potential food)... and even i can make up a RP explanation for why your colonists weren't sad that you killed a holy rabbit while batteling with mechs.
take it as an opportunity, put the dead thing in a freezer, build a tomb, put the remains in there.. venerate it... done.
