Using VFE: Pirates warcasket mechanic to make a vehicle mod as an alternative to Steel Torrent?

Theoretically you could make a mod that adds warcaskets, but instead of being a mech/power armor, the warcasket torso could be a vehicle's hull, the head could be the turret for tanks, or invisible for trucks and cars, and the shoulders could be addons like applique armor and such, with of course the vehicles' weapon being the warcasket weapon. I'd prefer this over Steel Torrent personally.

The warcasket stuff is just normal apparel, more or less. The Bloat Expanded guys are apparently almost done with their actual vehicle framework, so you should probably just wait maybe a month or so for that.
