Body Purist!
What an awful trait especially now that there's umpteen ways to modify the body. If I add some Aesthetics to a pawn will the added beauty offset the added body modification malus? Are there any genes (ideologies) that can help with the situation? It's mostly opinion I'm worried about at the moment but mood is also an issue.

If you add the Body Modification Approved precept to your Ideoligeon, they should get at least a partial negation of the penalties, since it offers a small buff to both opinion and mood when there are bod mods.

Not sure if it will negate the whole thing though.
i'm a big fan of giving pawns the kind trait via xenogenes, if you can get your hands on it.
Helps with relations to a degree and when everyone has it there are no more social fights in my experience.
Body Purist is kind of interesting in that early game it does basically nothing, but late game it is literally the most heavily penalizing trait in the game by far. It is absolutely a negative trait and meant to be terrible, but provides you with that choice, do you allow a body purist into your colony early game? You might need them, it might not be an issue at that point, but you will pay for that decision later.

The body purist relationship penalty caps at -40 opinion, the beauty bonus caps at +40 opinion, so yes in theory they should cancel each other out. I'm pretty sure body purist doesn't check for the source of the beauty, but I haven't tested it (body purist is on my trait blacklist). In this way I guess it's about as bad as the Kind trait by canceling out the main method of improving relations between colonists.

I am noticing that on my current playthrough. After the second murderous rage mental break, my body purist was scheduled to first the ripscanner then to the butchers table.

EDIT: I made sure I removed the useful limbs first.

The ultimate insult. Even in death, he will be impure, likely mixed with corn.
