But tribals penalty to research is in vanila and created by gamedev, so it's obliviously used to balance start with more colonist then you normally start.
everything else is created by the developer too, think about it ;)
and if you dont know what to do when you think that my mod is op, then make sure to read the FaQ on the forum.
What tech level gives to you? It's only alter tech research speed.
And don't you think, that peoples, who studied at school and worked/payed for space travel - definitely know much more about energy rifles and such stuff then tribals, whom birth&growth in jungles?
so back to topic, if he wanna tell the story of a tribe that advances in tech level with times passes so it be.
There's no difference between 1 and 1000 mods. Any mod means your Rimworld is no longer base game. But who really cares unless you are speed running a certain ruleset?
Research is already pretty easy, so I decided not to use this mod. I like the way it works, though.
