(Tamed) How to Zone Animal Areas?
I cannot work out how to define areas, i know i can choose bettween unassigned, home, but any other areas don't seem to have a zone nor can i define a zone. I was expecting it to be like defining a zone for stockpiling etc.

So how do you assign or set up a zone area for animals?

In either the Zone/Area tab or in where you assign zones, go to manage zones.

Restrict tab- Manage Areas. Make a new zone for humans or animals. Then click the animals tab and just click and drag over the new zone in the tab. It should even have a new color. Done :)

Architect > Zone/Area > click on "expand allowed areas" , then a list pops up where you can pick the specific area, as it does for choosing construction materials.

Thanks guys. This needs to be more user friendly, like perhaps when you create a new area (in Animal menu) you are asked to mark the zones. Or use the right-mouse button to select an area and a popup could list all the zone types- which would be a fast way to designate any zone on the fly.

1) Click on "Expand Allowed Area " under Architects tab. A drop down menu lists "Area 1" , "Animal area 1" and "Manage areas" as defaults (you can create more listings and name them) . Select animal area 1 ( There is one default "animal area 1" listed). Now FINALLY you can drag and define this animal zone over other areas you have created.

2) Now click on the Animals tab and click on the pink "animal area 1" button to the right of each tame animal. If the pink button has a white highlighted border then that animal will now move there.
