Thx
Note that chickens can't be left outside in freezeing tempatures, you will need a sleeping/eating animal area that stays relatively warm. They require less food then most animals, however, and do produce eggs.
You can't fertalize eggs if they are unfertalized. Unfertalized eggs are just a food item, and will never hatch.
I'm so 'surprised' ppl think games resemble real life, don't seem to realize the laws and physics of the game are made up. OMG RATS GO BOOM WHEN I KILL THEMM?!?!? MOMMY MOMMY...
2 other ppl also had the same question, I apologize u have to live with us ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Thx to the other kind posts for helping.
Its not a lack of intellect, its the astonishing lack of basic science education. I knew "core curriculum" sounded like a corporate-driven farce, I just didn't realize it was this bad. Looks like my own kids are due for an impromptu science lesson tomorrow to make sure this concept is understood...the schools can't be counted on.
For something to grow into a mature form, it must be fertilized. Otherwise, its lacking half its genetic components and therefore incapable of growth as an organism (duplication and differentiation). Some plant species and rare invertebrates include life cycles where fertilization is merely optional, but by and large the ol' egg and sperm coming together are necessary to make a baby.
The fundamental question is what does the developer want us to do to fertilize eggs, not how does real life science work. The developer can make us go through any process he wants in his creative mind. I could have a PHD in science (surprise surprise I don't) but if the dev wants unfertilized eggs to hatch using a Hydro Thermal Galactic Phalllic Shaped Industrial Penetrator 3000 then it will happen in his 'game'.
If u want to talk about a better education system we should learn to listen, read and communicate more productively. Would be a lot less rubbish in forums.
