Any way to knock someone out?
When I have someone go beserk or an invader. Is it possible to capture or knock them out without seriously injuring or killing them on accident?

Fists is best but you're going to take a lot of damage and maybe lose some people. I just beat them down and then hope for the best when the docs patch them back up.

Idk man I am having the same problem. A guy in my village gets turned down twice in a row; hes now negative 50 mood and always starting fights -makes me so mad- he was so productive before that too. I am afraid I might just need to put him down. He is going on his fourth fight and he still has a season till he is happy again.

He actually went as far as to go berserk on the person next to him in the hospital room!
Clubs work great for knocking people out. I think you can arrest people if you draft someone and right click on the colonist you want to arrest. I haven't arrested anyone in my colony but I've heard you have to recruit them afterwards though.

Have you though about putting him on his own sleeping schedule? Perhaps if he doesn't see the person he keeps hitting on it will stop happening.

Or maybe even keep them in separate zones as well if possible.

Clubs and maces do Bruse damage, so they are far less likely to kill someone. So do Fist. Bionic limbs are best, but are rare and expensive. They do however let you knock someone out fast.

Arrest has a chance to go peaceful or end up in a fight. You don't have to recruit them again though as they are still part of your faction. Just release them after they have chilled out.

Gotta be careful even with fists, people can break fingers or still end up with head and spinal injuries and permanately damaged vision, in my experience.

wooden clubs or fists are ok (or any ranged weapon as they count as fists in hand to hand I believe) but stay away from stone clubs, these will tear limbs apart.

The rule is, the lower damage hits have a lower chance of breaking limbs

EDIT combat realism mod (and perhaps others too) have some form of crowd control weaponry. In CR you can load shotguns with special pellets that split into a lot of small dmg projectiles, effectively good at disabling pawns without too much damage

Berserking people can't dig or deconstruct, so build a wall around someone with "terrible mood" and no good prospects. Later, especially at night, you can open the room and throw in some food (pemmican works very well).
