Cannibals keep eating alien meat?

I have their food restrictions set to ignore alien meat, and I have it forbidden in the freezer. I live in mountains so I just cut up the bugs to sell to traders. Yet, despite my restrictions on my cannibal colony, they all keep getting the enormous -20 debuff from "eating alien meat".
I have checked my meals, and the alien meat is in none of them. So what's going on do you think?
Anyone else ever have this issue?

Sounds like a HAR bug to me.

HAR technically creates a 'human' alien species which may not be counted as human for some things.
