Starving colonist in a coma
My only other colonist is incapable of doctoring so i cant get her to feed him. Is there anyway around this or is he just going to starve? Is there a mod that changes this?

"Pawns are capable" changes "incapable of..." To "hates..."

I know it works for hauling and cleaning. Not sure if it'll work on medical. Worth a try?

It's a wee bit massively cheaty and OP as hell, but the mod "character editor" can allow you to make any changes you like to your colonists stats on the fly, even resurrecting them from death.

I try my very best to never use it, but sometimes you know it's game over unless you step in and play god.

if you can't get a hold of a cryptosleep casket ( ancient danger?) and really don't wanna lose the colonist you could just make the other one capable of caring using the dev menu, or the character editor mod

I remember turning off the button at the bottom of the screen that lets you edit characters in game in the mod options and now i just cant find character editor in the mod options

Too early in the game for that, not going to clear an ancient danger with a steel longsword

You could make a line of traps which the enemies have to walk through. The AI is pretty stupid and will path right through them.

Thanks, restarting the game with it on worked.

I don't mind if the colony dies, its part of the game. That being said I do keep dev mode on and the editor active in case a mod breaks something.
