I'd need to know more before I would consider changing my vote.
Uh, because it is a game that was built from nothing over many years by a solo creator who turned it into not only an iconic game but also a successful company?
I think buying all the DLCs is thanks and recognition enough!
I might nominate some mods for Labor of Love if I could...
However, for this particular award in this particular year, I believe there is another solo developer who deserves it more... for similar reasons as you have stated above but under the most difficult of situations.
But dont ask for justification as to why Rimworld deserves to be nominated in a tone that suggests it does not. Rimworld is one of the most impressive solo efforts ever developed, along side minecraft.
The OP stated:
And all I asked was for them to elaborate.
Thank you for your contribution, nonetheless.
not only is asking for justification, but also comes off with a "tone".
Just fyi.
