Of course your get the plebs defending them as a great indie company blah blah blah truth be told their as greedy as any other AAA game company.
That is of course the publisher's prerogative. I am not mad. It will likely just be at the bottom of my wish list forever. Oh well, there are worse things in the world.
Nice try with that trolling.
You know people can see that you already own the game?
*They're
Those DLCs are full addons, not simple skins or cosmetic bs. Prices are pretty fair imo.
They released over a couple of years, not all at once and you dont need any of the DLC to have hundreds or thousands of hours of content.
You can sometimes find it bundled, with a subsequently reduced cost per game unit, at HumbleBundle.
https://www.humblebundle.com/
Generally, IIRC, the reduction ends up around 15% max when it's bundled that way.
You want examples of greedy games ?
Total Warhammer games
Paradox games
In my local currency, total warhammer 2 with all DLC costs three times as much as edge world with all DLC.
And if I want to play total warhammer 2 mortal empires, I have to buy total warhammer 1, plus the dlcs in case you want them in your game too ( it's two games plus 15 dlcs in case you wanted the full experience in total warhammer 2 mortal empires ).
And it's probably like that with total warhammer 3 as well.
And as for Paradox, I don't think I even need to say it, just log on to stellaris and see the amount of dlc.
You dont need to own DLCs for mortal empire or immortal empire to have those factions in the game. You only need to buy them if you want to play them by yourself.
But all in all you are right. Owning all of the content for immortal empires in TW:WIII would cost several hundred €.
You "could" say thats greedy. But on the other hand what game gives you your old purchased content from previous titles included in newer titles after years?
If you see it from that perspective you get far more from what you bought, because today WH1 and its DLCs are at the same time full implemented in WH2 and WH3.
I would never even think about starting the game and buying all of its DLCs and instead only buy additional factions or leaders if I am interested in playing them.
No whats ignorant is the fact that these devs have made a lot of money and still charge top dollar for their product i mean how much is enough?.
Their is no harm making money but its gets to the point where they start to take the piss and lose those indie values.
Put it this way as of now you can buy Rimworld + DLCs for £70 but in the steam sales you can pick up at least 4 top notch games maybe more for the same price its beyond stupid.
Even Paradox with the vast amount of DLC go on sale quite often heck i picked up all the EU4 dlc for $20 on humble bundle.
