How do you implant genes in people
I have them in gene banks but I don't see a way to put them into people. I checked the medical tab and nothing about putting in genes on people. Does anyone have a step by step?

You gotta create a new item using the Gene Assembler machine.

- Click on it and open up the xenotype editor, just like when you are creating a xenotype on the character creation screen.
- Add genes from your banks (they will show up on this screen if they are close enough to the gene assembler to be connected, basically in the same room)
- once you have the gene package that you wanted added to a pawn, name it and click the [Start Combining] button in the bottom right.
- assign someone to complete the crafting job on the gene package by selecting the crafter and r-clicking the Gene Assembler.

To implant the package, select the pawn that you want to do the implanting on and r-click the item that was generated, and select "Order Implantation into [Name]".

NOTE: adding xenogenes will erase ALL existing xeno-genes that have been added to a pawn previously. This means that adding things to certain pawns will erase all of their previous traits (most notably wiping out all sanguophage abilities).

This is why there is a distinction made between natural genes and added genes. Natural genes will never be removed but they can be overridden, added genes will be removed whenever a new gene package is added to them.

You can also order xenogerm implantation through the usual medical operations system, like adding a bionic limb. There will be an "implant xenogerm" option that leads to a drop box that lists every xenogerm you have in inventory. In case you lose your xenogerm inside your stockpiles somewhere.
