DLC Compatibility

So, if tried to start a new game with tons of mods and after a few hours of trying to make it worked I began to seek to issue in vanilla game and I found something really crazy.
So firstly: its impossible to play without other DLC's while Biotech is active - game cannot generate map.
Secondly - Biotech isnt compatibile with Ideology and you cannot create ideology while biotech is active which makes me stuck whenever I try to make one.
And for the last one - you cannot add some factions to game - Biotech requires to remove Gentle Tribe (the yellow one) to properly generate world.

I dont know how all of it ended up being so badly made, nonetheless does anyone has experienced those issues and fixed them somehow and would like to help?

Sounds more like mod issues or a corrupted download to me. Biotech, Royalty and Ideology are compatible with each other by default.

no mods, re-downloaded game and like i said - I can play either with all of 3 dlc's or without biotech

You corrupted your game files. They aren't interconnected to that degree.

You really have to have some idea of what you're doing before installing tons of mods. That's how these situations happen. The game just isn't the way you describe.

so should I unsubscribe all and then try something because I already cleared cache files from mods so no configurations no settings, no saves from those

Haven't had any of those problems myself. Sounds like mod issues or a borked installation.

Sooo, It actually now works - somehow biotech dlc was not updated to the current version while the other DLCs were, and so now it works properly at least in vanilla.

Pretty sure that mods need to update that change ideology in same way since we now got patches between the dlcs that might conflict with patches from mods.

well, some of them still are here but i managed to 'bypass' them and now trying to find mods which will work with all of these

i think that whenever i restart rimworld i need to do some 'random seed' and 'reset all' in world generation and then eventually world generation works properly

although, mods i found crashing world generation: vanilla expanded genetics, qualityBuilder

yet im still searching which mods I can play and anything about the issues i got

i am having the same issue when i have biotech enabled no factions show up on world generate and i cannot start the game works fine with it turned off though

i believe you play in vanilla in that case (at least in my expierence with this bug) simply delete all factions and start adding one by one and after adding a one faction check if game properly generates all of them

in my case it often meant i need to remove one of the new genetic raider faction or even an empire (from royality)
