when you click on the animal you want to tame it says tame or hunt. you can click tame to get the person to tame them. Look under the work tab and you can manually change the priority of the person taming to 1 so that's their 1st priority so they will then do it quickly
Incognito nothing happens i did that I need spesific instruction. Or maybe my rimworld bugged ? saved loaded still nothing?

Ah I feel like its southpark episode . I clikced animal 1 of most domestic around which is turkey. clicked tame waited nothing happened all my colonists have 4,5,8 animal skills all have checked animal/handle whatever its at work tab, all of them have no other job but no one goes to tame it. I tried give direct order still nothing.

Theres only 20 minute video on internet titled " tame animals rimworld" published by The one who made game . But genious talking zero about how to do it? showing other stuff..

SO I WONDER ANYONE NOT COCKY AND NOWS HOW TO DO IT CARE TO EXPLAIN? I do things wrong? Do I need prepare something before it like barn animal farm field? Do I need first animals diet meat before trying it it should be on colonists inventory?( colonists have inventory? if its how to look at it? meat can be stock zone?

I feel like Randy Marsh how train horses at minecraft?
You don't need to prepare a barn or create an area for the animal. (Although once you have a few tame animals, it's a good idea to restrict them to a specific area.) You will need something the animal can eat; haygrass or just about any food crop for herbivores, meat for carnivores, and almost any critter will eat kibble. (Kibble can be prepared at the butcher table.)

Mark an animal for taming. Eventually a colonist will come try to tame the animal. The first try probably won't succeed, but each time the same colonist tries to tame the same animal, he'll build a rapport, making future attempts more likely to succeed. Also, most wild animals have minimum Animals skill requirements; timber wolves, for example, can't be trained by anybody with an Animals skill lower than 6. (Colonists won't attempt to train animals that are beyond their skills.)

If no colonist tries to tame the animal, check the following:
  • You have a colonist with the "Handle" task enabled in the Work menu.
  • The colonist does not have any higher-priority tasks keeping her busy. (In standard mode, colonists will prioritize tasks on the left.)
  • The colonist's allowed area is either Unrestricted or includes the animal you want to tame.

What sort of animal are you trying to tame?

The one thing you might be missing is that you have to have something to feed the animal you want to tame. If you select the animal and left click on the little "i" information icon, you can see what foods an animal eats.

For carnivores, you can use uncooked meat or kibble (among other things); for herbivores you're going to need veggies/berries/kibble -- potatoes, berries from a bush, etc.

Hope that helps!
I figure out it was meal ..They eat what Pocket Nerd says... It was freakn turkey after I got meals and some vegatables my 11 skill animal trait colonist 14-15 percent chance for this easy task. He needs wonder whole map he can only try 3-4 times a day becouse once per animal each day. at 10 days I got 1 turkey which I dont recommend anyone at very beginng game. Go hunt ^^..And beware stupid glowing animals..1 of them tamed on its own and came to my farm..I tried buthcer it than....Ahh now I start new game
