Growing season.
I'm slightly confused about the growing seasons. I often see my plants growing outside of the growing season, so what does it mean exactly? For example, say it's 1st Summer till 11th Fall, why are my plants still growing after 11th Fall and my guys planting new crops?

Does it perhaps mean that anything out of those dates will never reach full growth (I know they die in the snow/frost for example).

If it says 'never', why are plants growing? Does it basically mean they'll never reach maturity?

Or maybe the dates are meant to be guidelines rather than exact dates?

Much like real seasons they are guide lines. It will get cooler until at some point your plants will start to die off. Also as they get out of their comfort zone they will grow slower. If you select one it will tell you what is going on with it.

To clarify if it is still growing it will eventually mature, or you can harvest early for a partial yield.

Thanks. So basically, if 11th Fall is the last day, it's probably better to get my guys to stop planting around that point? They'll probably stop growing as it reaches winter and just die, so it's a waste of time?

Presumably, this means that in a 'never' biome, you shouldn't bother trying to grow at all because they'll 'probably' never reach maturity?
Yeah, pawns aren't all that bright. :p
Pawns or spawns? :p

Anyway thanks :)
