Question about cannibalism

So far it seems to be a pure good. Kill a raider, put his corspe in a cooled room a safe distance away, and when a Cannibal gets hungry send her on up. Is there a downside that isn't prevalent yet?

Cannibalism is only bad for people without the cannibal trait, this includes anyone cooking it. Otherwise no hidden negatives or anything. Do note that eating raw food can give parasites or food poisoning.

Other than that no issues. Aside from ethical ones, of course.

Butchering human bodies effects everyone in the colony unless they don't care about people.
Otherwise, no. canibalism is all good.
Heck, I force my prisoners to do it just because I cant be bothered feeding them otherwise.
I only keep them long enough to get whatever organs I need, install 2 peg legs and adenture anyway >.>

Non psychopath's dislike seeing corpses so have your cook (unless he is not a cannibal) butcher these corpses and turn them into meat and leather.

There is no way to get non-canibals to eat human meat and be happy about it.

psycopaths wont care about a lot,
canibals will like alot of it.

any time a human body is butchered everyone in the colony that isnt incapable of caring or feeling happy about it will be unhappy about it.
if the person doing the butchering isnt psychopathic (or maybe a canibal too, I am not sure on that front) they will get a mood debuf for each body they butcher on top of the colony wide debuff.
Anyone eating the meat raw, cooked, or as paste will also get unhappy unlles they like it. I dont think psycopaths are imune tothis debuf but I cant be sure. my pet psycho died :(

Personaly, Itunr human flesh into kibble which can be fead to every type of animal I care about if not all of them.

Or I just feed the flesh to my prisoners.
