Clarification: Immunity (solved)
I have a message 'Infection (major, developed immunity)

The patient is immune to the infections?
or
Does that mean the infection is immune to medicine?
(In which case how do I get them into a cryotube)

They are immune to the disease and you will see it start to decrease in seriousness until it's gone.

If they are immun but still carry the desease, does that mean they can spread it? If so how can I cure a severe case of Pest?

Essentially like in real life; They have developed a immunity to this particular infection.
They can still get countless other infections, but this one won't bother them anymore

I mean, can they still infect other people with their desease even though they themselves are immun to it? Kinda like in the 28 weeks later movie.

they can still be a carrier for it but immunity means they now at 100% survival rate of it. However until that event is removed from colonist health tab they can still infect others if its a plague status, gutworms and a few others

Its in infection from a wound.
If the game is in any way like real life no they can't transmit it to others.

I got stabed thrpough the guts and develop peritinitus, ijust doesnt leap to other people arround me.

plauge and gutworms I assume can be transmitted to others

In my case one dude had the Pest. But it'd be interesting to see if the game handels infections and plagues in different ways.

Yes it does handle them differently, just the fact that infections cannot spread and that plagues can spread is enough "proof" of that.
Wether or not plagues can spread once the host becomes immune is uncertain but I'd put my wager on that it can; Until the plague disappears after a few hours of becoming immune the host is likely still a hazard for spreading the disease.

But infections are just that; Infections. They don't spread.

It's a bit confusing. When people get an infection you take a sample to determine the cause. Then you test it against antibiotics to get an immunity table. I think I amputated my first infected patient as immunity approached 100%. :P

But it's also true that you acquire immunity against the disease, however, this is very seldom measured in practice (and then it's quite binary, i.e. do antibodies exist or not).

The text shouldn't read "immunity" but "disease immunity" or immunity against disease or such.
