Do transport pods deal damage?

I've seen colonists land with them and becoming severely wounded but do your colonists get wounded from them?

I'm pretty sure I remember someone getting extremely pissed off because a transport pod landed inside his base, crashed through the roof, and killed someone. So, yeah, don't let transport pods land on your guys.

None of my colonists have suffered any injuries using them and neither any colonist camping out along a caravan trek back to base that I've sent supplies to via pods. They're perfectly safe to use!

You can drop in a bunch of flammable and explosive things and ignite them for dealing damage. that's a thing.
