There is a sloppy workaround that involves ordering a colonist to eat at a dispenser and when they get a meal, quickly draft them so that they drop it. Repeat until you get a stockpile of meals dropped on the floor.
Been a while since played. Maybe they feed when tending even if not checked off for gets food.
Will Prisoners feed other Prisoners if there is a foodsource available?
ie: Meal lying on a table/floor, meal in a Rimfridge, extra meal in inventory, nutrient paste dispenser, etc...
I know that generally requires a Warden job for official "Prisoners," but with the Hospitality mod I've seen Guests use medicine to heal each other after combat. I wasn't sure if that was native behavior or mod-related and wonder how far that behavior would go if it was "native" in terms of Prisoner behaviors.
(I don't recall seeing it in evidence in pre-1.0 play but am only now experiencing the post-1.0 game.)
