Victory by Noble Weapon
It seems this only works for pawns who get a kill with said weapon, but it doesn't count if they down an enemy. Even if they don't die, that should still count as a victory right?

Also not really a big issue, but I had some refugees request to stay with me and their ideology despised melee weapons, but they all spawned with melee giving them a small mood debuff. Easy enough to solve since they can just drop the weapons, but still a little odd.

Keep your pawn drafted and order them to attack the downed pawn until they die. You get the kill credit then.

You can force stab them while they are downed on the ground and kill them off that way to get the mood buff. I haven't dabbled with noble weapons yet but if the thought description says that you only need to 'win' a fight with the weapon then it would make sense that it would trigger at pawn being downed rather than being killed, I agree.

Stuff like that happens way too often but it's probably hard to code to prevent that. Requires a lot of checks.

Yea I assumed as much, but thankfully it's a non-issue as long as you notice it

Imagine you are in battle, fighting alongside your fellow colonists, trying to prove you are a valuable member of the team and effective at fighting the way the colony prides itself with, shooting wildly into the air with automatic weapons. You miss a bunch of shots, you picked a squirrely target that stays in full cover the entire battle, eventually one of your shots graze their arm, they squeal like a little pig and flop over on the ground sobbing. You feel no pride from this, you feel robbed, you try to pick another target but just as you go to aim Cpt. Chad the hussar scores his 7th headshot for the battle and finishes off the last enemy. You have two options, walk away and play your 1025th match of chess against yourself and pretend this battle never happened, or march over next to the wimp laying on the ground and shoot your weapon 37 times until they finally die and you feel like you are a true warrior. Then sit down and eat your meal consisting of rice and rice, on the ground, in a big puddle of blood, like every day.

That's utterly barbaric!

They should be eating corn.
