Colony kids cant use Anima trees?

Playing a tribal game and have one kid in the colony so far who just hit 7. Most of my tribe has high level psy powers by now but I notice the kid does not have access to the natural meditation type. Anyone who has more exp with tribal runs post biotech know if this is consistent and that colony raised kids even with tribal parents won't get the tribal bonus of the Anima tree?

This is getting fixed on the unstable branch at the moment, no idea when it gets patched in tho.

This is a known problem and is being addressed in the Cross-Content patch that is currently on the Unstable Branch! The mention in the patch notes says;

"Fix: Tribal children who grow up in a colony don't get the 'natural' meditation focus type."

It was from the first day the new cross-DLC content arrived on unstable (I think Nov 12)

Here is the relevant patch note (it was the first line of the "Fixes" section):

"Fix: Tribal children who grow up in a colony don't get the 'natural' meditation focus type."
