Ancient Cryptosleep Caskets ...
There was a structure, pretty large, right by my base and I kept getting this weird alert about it. One day I decided to break in and there were 3 aliens in there that I managed to kill. Days later, I decided to go back in there and see what's in those caskets. There were 4 people in those, 3 were badly injured, so I rescued them. 2 died and one got healed up and then just ran off. The 4th guy just went bezerk and attacked me, so had to kill him.

Anyway, so now I have these caskets. What are those good for? Anything, or should I just deconstruct them for the materials?

You can use them to store sick colonists that you're currently not able to heal and that way save them for later in the game.
You could dismantle them for the resources, but you'll need to build some later as part of the spaceship construction, so I'd say keep them.

Thanks. Can you capture people and put in there also? I just got caught a little off guard there by not having a jail and then I couldn't capture the one person who survived being in those. And I then found out that rescued people run off after they heal.

You need a designated whole room (any room with a door and a bed) to hold captives. A casket isn't a room and doesn't hold captives. If you don't have a prison room, then temporarily make one from one of your colonist's bedrooms.

Check the hospitality mod. It gives a chance for rescued pawns to join you

Instead of rescuing the people you find in the caskets just capture them, you'll have to recruit them but they won't run off. That's what I do anyways.

I probably need confirmation on this, but I'm pretty sure you can just right click on the vict.. i mean new recruit and stuff them in the ancient ice coffin.

Edit: I'm 95% certain, though I can't remember if I remade the wall around the ancient danger and claimed the intact ones mine after the capture or before.
