Colonist suffered infection, treated & developed 100% immunity, still in bed
I'm not sure why a couple colonists are still in bed after developing 100% immunity and being treated thoroughly in medical beds. They have now been in bed with 100% immunity for a while. Does it take a while for the sickness to end, am I missing something?

Scratch that, apparently it takes around a day or so...just seemed like she was laying there a while.

According to what I've read, if the patient develops an immunity while the infection is "extreme" or lower, they will not die. They just still lay there for a while and recuperate.

After they developed an immunity, they dont need bed rest; you can order them around. They will however, still have syptoms of the desease. By the way "extreme" is the worst stage, but again it doesnt matter once an immunity has developed.

Thanks for the info...So how do you get rid of the symptoms? I see it still says "sick" in their needs status.

It just takes a day or two, then they will be as good as new.

From what I noticed the sickness goes away after the severity is to a minor. So if it is currently at extreme it must be lowered to major then to minor.

gotcha....yeah, I've got the most successfull colony that I've ever had thus far and don't want to spoil it. Much appreciated.

It's okay, you learn as you go, heck in still learning after putting in like 100 hrs?

Pretty much. Once immunity is gained, it "reverses".

Happened to me once. If the colonist loose a leg, he is stuck in the bed and can't move! You have to take a wood log with your medic and make him an operation to do a woodleg :)
this is happening to me right now. My colonist is fully healed, but when he goes back to sleep he gets stuck in bed until I shoot him a couple times. This glitch is game breaking...

That has nothing to do with anything people in this old thread were talking about. If you aren't using any mods you should report game breaking issues on the official forums.

Make sure it's actually just a glitch and not a pawn in some sort of break state or just really tired.
