Stone -> Dirt?
I was wondering if there was a mod that changes stone outside into dirt? I am sick of having my lovely gardens being ruined because i want to expand and theres a mountain edge in the way.....

If you feel like "cheating" you can always turn on the dev' tool, and make the stone spots dirt.

Get the Tilled Soil mod. You can research the ability to place soil on stone terrain and then you can till any soil for extra plant growth.

Tilled soil for simplicity

Vegetable garden for that+ a whole bunch of new plants/cooking stuff.

I ended up getting the vegetable garden mod, it sounded interesting with all the different plant types haha

Same. Just be aware builders like to priotitize the smoothing/digging process for those tiles weirdly. So keep an eye on that if you have anything important in the works.

Well yeah, since that's all that was being asked for. Still, I suggest Tilled Soil anyway for that speedy crop growth.

I can read, but vegetable garden does not allow for tilling the soil for an increased growth rate. And, as a user of both, they work well together.

Not when I had it installed, which was prior to Tilled Soil.

There shoul be the soil reclamation research. Same thing that lets you convert stone to dirt, also unlocks garden soil.

Yeah, no. Even taking out Tilled Soil and starting a new save to be sure, there's no other option beside soil reclamation.
