Forbidden Drugs
Hi,
Is it possible to store drugs, without the settlers have access to it? Because as i know, addict pawns ignore orders to dont use drugs? TY

Use zones. Create a zone, expand it to cover your drugs stockpile. Once that's done, go to the zone manager and invert it. That will make the zone cover everywhere except the drug stockpile. Then restrict your druggy colonists to that zone.

That way, because they won't be allowed to start or end jobs inside there, they won't be allowed in.

Be aware that if they go on a binge there is a chance that they will ignore zones and forbidden doors and get teh drugs anyways. It should work for "regular" addicts though.

I just build a wall to completely close the room ( if drugs are not used by colonists)

Same here. Depending on the situation, of course. But if you are worried your druggies will break and take it on their own, tossing it all inside a cheaply constructed room and wall it off with your most plentiful resource (some stone or wood as the last 'plug' in the wall) which can be torn down and reconstructed as necessary. Can throw in an orbital beacon if you want to sell it off.

If that isn't so much a worry, simply blocking the zone or putting a red x on the door will disallow the regular use (though not bingers) and works well enough.

If you aren't interested in selling or using it, then use the old method to get rid of clothes and just burn it with some molotovs or other fire.

I just burn all drugs short of Beer, Smokeleaf, Malariblock & Luciferium because otherwise, you might have a colonist break, and get all twacked out on some coke. (Keep Luciferum locked up real tight, dangerous stuff.)

You can burn drugs in campfires

Luciferium isn't a pleasure drug though so they won't binge on it.

the smokeleaf is a life saver for me. Its exactly what they need to stave off a mental break. Kind of like in real life.

Try yayo, it's help a lot (very good buffs, low addiction chances). Best situational usage - take them when raid arrived (it's gives both combat boost and reduce your colonist exhaustion + make them move faster, this will help to clean post-fight mess).

And no need to lock Luciferium - colonists will never take it themselves if they don't already have addiction to it.
