Repairing armor and weapons?

As we all know, armor and weapons breaks after a while. Is there a way to repair them, or are this things just disposables? ty

Mending mod on the steam workshop is the best way to do it otherwise there is no way to do it in vanilla rimworld, hope this feature gets added.

Recommend - build armory and keep here armors & weapons, using apparel settings to force colonist to redress in time of raids. As bonus - it's help to store some weapons for specific encounters, like minguns, EMP grenades.

And use only mending mod version that require resources to do mending. Free repairs is incredible cheaty thing (allow to generate a lot of wealth for traders from ''nowhere'', just mending raiders broken gear when traders appear).

@corisai ty dude. but that game is cheating too. 3 enemys with triple grenade launchers, all my 12 settlers dead within 3 seconds. :-)
