How do i cure sleeping sickness?

Takes repeated treatments. Not sure medicine even helps, so I usually just treat with no meds, unless I already have large stocks of herbal meds.

That's what I thought too. I cured it once somehow. Now I have 3 colonists infected and they've been down for a couple weeks receiving herbal treatments the whole time and no progress. wasn't sure if there's a trick to it or something.

Nope, no trick. Think it may be a random number of treatment thing as well.

If you monkey around in the save file, you'll notice it has a count down timer. The sickness lasts a random (but predetermined) length of time. Treatments are to address it's symptoms and prevent it from killing you. It'll go away if you wait it out and don't get any additional complications that kill you.
