This or Prison Architect?

I'd pick this over PA. But there is a sale right now for PA making worth only 7-8 dollars...If you want to save money, go for PA. If you want to go for an experience out of prison and more of a colony management sort of game, go for this...For a much higher price of course.

Depends you want to run a prison or deal with a colony that has riaders, mental break downs, disease, cold snaps, heat waves, and rabid animials? Its not even remotely the same game, same art, diffrent devs, diffrent gameplay, and way diffrent visions form the devs

Both because they are different despite the graphics. If only you had to choose between 2 prison games, but no whether is your choice you miss a great one.

this is the game.. how much fun can prison architect be really?? seriously think about it..

lets see -

Prison Architect- you build offices and staff people and watch prisoners fight and lock up...

RimWorld - you build a colony and deal with all that mother nature can throw at you.. animals/traders/raids and more...

is this really a competition?

Depends if you want to design a prison (Exclusivly) in a full release game AKA Prison Architect. Or build an entire colony (includeing prison), while dealing with many more issues, includeing predatory animals, bandit raids and diseases as well as traders and resource management, In a Pre Alpha game (which runs fine) which is being improved continuously.

They are very different games; Rimworld is about not losing, whereas Prison Architect is about making as much money as you can. Also, Rimworld is much more difficult than Prison Architect. The art is the same, but that's about it.

In rimworld you can capture your prisoners and rip out their hearts, just sayin'
(I'm not against PA, I've clocked over 50 hours in it)

Whilst very different gameplay, they are both awesome games in my opinion.
