Fabricor work at Gestator
Quick question:
Cant the Fabricor work on the Mech Gestator? In his Work activities it´s listed that he can 'make things at mech gestator', but if I cueue up a new mech he doesnt seem to work on that. Also none of the bills on the gestator allow me to to set the worker to mechs. Only mechanitors seem to be able to work on that.

No it cannot. I agree that its misleading that its listed, hopefully they will change the listed jobs in the future. But the fact that it cannot makes sense.

Only mechanitors can work on the Mech Gestator since the growth of the mechanoid needs to be directed using his mechlink (a psychic thing btw, not just radio waves or something). The mechanoid is also auto linked to the mechanitor that grows it.

It's a gameplay limitation, as soon as the gestation starts the bandwidth for that mech is reserved. Letting the fabbots build opens doors to abuse and probaly bugs where more mechs are made than can be controlled, then they go feral while still being gestated and blah blah.

It would be nice if they could at least throw in the next gestation-cycle. Well, cant be helped :D

So having your mechanitor being a 3yo is what one would call "a bad idea"?

now we know how the mechanoids, despite being feral, increase in numbers.

someone told a fabricor to build more mechs and than died to a heart attack (lmao)
