I can't tell the specific hue of ♥♥♥♥-brown my colonist wants her bedroom carpet to be
Are we ever going to get any assistance at all in figuring out what a colonists favorite color is?

I can't keep the "Bio" tab on the pawn open while I select carpet color.
Mousing over the favorite color is about as useful as tits on a garter snake.
I don't want to spend 100's of units of cloth desperately figuring this out through trial and error.

I'm not even colorblind and I still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate the way this works.

If anyone has a mod to fix this assgarbage, please share.

place one tile and open the bio tab and compare. As far as I'm aware the boost is related to clothing colour and its pretty small, a +1 I think. I'm interested to see if carpet colour gives a mood boost now though.

You get a +1 mood boost if you have more than 60% of a colonist's apparel dyed their favorite color or ideology color. There is a handy button on the styling station to automatically select either of those colors.

I don't know what you are trying to do with carpets but there is no bonus or need to match carpet color to colonist's favorite colors.

Roleplay most likely, which is a valid concern for the man if it be the case.

Well that's going to be pretty tough to do then since carpet colors don't line up with ideology/favorite colors. They are unrelated systems.

Wait, what? But why?
I legit thought there would be at least a minor mood boost tied to decking out a pawns room with their favorite color.

Ah well.
I think I got the right color for one of the pawn rooms now, so I might as well go all the way and see for myself.

You can always use a third party program like ColorPicker while Ludeon figures out if they want to build this into the game. Just use the pipette tool to select the color on the character panel and then plug the hex into the game where the carpet is.
