2: You don't have to send your pawn to trade as soon the traders arrive. You can greet them at the morning, they don't leave your map that fast.
3: Recruit some Nightowls.
4: Till you don't have Nightowls, set 1-2 of your pawns to night schedule.
Problem? Solved.
Besides being for obvious balance reasons, it does make sense that raiders would do so. Why would you arrive to a fight dead tired if you didn't have to?
I'd expect them to set up a little further away and then arrive at maybe 80% or 90% rested. Pretty sure they sometimes do. But it's the ones who show up at 100% that make me wonder just how close to the colony they were napping without being noticed.
