Why do traders and blight ALWAYS come at night?
I am so sick and tired of pissed off pwn because they aren't getting enough sleep, and having to force them one by one to cut down blighted food, because its at night and they keep trying to go to bed!

Raids at night, that makes sense, but stop sending traders at night and give me a way to say CUT ALL THIS NOW. Please.

Seems like you just have bad luck.

My darkness loving, UV sensitive colony has the complain that traders and blights always come in the morning x)

It is for you, sure. But that's just random chance. They happen at all times, independent of the clock.

Skill issue. Have some pawns work during the night and sleep during the day.

1: Blight saks, but you have to deal with it. The event's timing is random.
2: You don't have to send your pawn to trade as soon the traders arrive. You can greet them at the morning, they don't leave your map that fast.
3: Recruit some Nightowls.
4: Till you don't have Nightowls, set 1-2 of your pawns to night schedule.
Problem? Solved.

If you get blight, then change your work priority for grow from 1 to nothing. Leave Plant Cut on 1. This will expedite the removal of bad plants and stop planting until the blight is cleared and you put Grow back on 1.

I'm always just amazed when the raiders and traders show up fully rested. They must've set up a camp half a screen off the map and had a good nap first.

Besides being for obvious balance reasons, it does make sense that raiders would do so. Why would you arrive to a fight dead tired if you didn't have to?

I'd expect them to set up a little further away and then arrive at maybe 80% or 90% rested. Pretty sure they sometimes do. But it's the ones who show up at 100% that make me wonder just how close to the colony they were napping without being noticed.
