Shock Lances arent the same as Insanity Lances
I haven't checked in game, just glanced at the files.
some psycasts prevent targeting the bosses because they are "too big". Berserk still works, it's just the skipcasts.
Now all you have to do is take care of the lesser mechanoids which usually aren't a big deal at all. The reason the smaller guys are so deadly is because the big guys support them in one way or another. Diabolus blowing away your cover, Apocriton resurrecting the dead mechanoids and war queen just flooding your defenses with cannon fodder. When they are taken out of the equation, it just becomes a normal mech raid where you gang up on the downed boss at the end.
Not sure if shock lance was intended to be used like this but it sure as hell is hilarious.
Would be more balanced if it only lasted 60 seconds or so instead of a full 3 hours.
