How do i progress a "fluid" ideology?
Ive tried fluid and one of the main new ones. How exactly do you start adding new stuff to my ideology over time? Do I need to build a specific Ideology room?

You do rituals/quests or events from your ideology.

For example a ideology that supports executing prisoners will get development points from doing so, a ideology that is charitable will get points from doing charity.

Every ideology will get points from doing their rituals.

Gather enough points and you can reform your ideology (add stuff).

When you do events related to the ideology, it gives you "development points". Different ideologies have different opportunities to get these points. Things like holding speeches, ideolgious parties, funerals, etc contribute.

Also, whenever you convert or enslave someone, you get a point.

So it can be worthwhile to convert/enslave a prisoner, even if you plan on executing them. And likewise, quests that have you hosting royals or keeping prisoners present an opportunity to get a few points by converting your guests.

Execute? I let them leave with the majority of their organs left. This is good to know though, i am gonna make a raiding run soon.

If you add 6 social events that can be done at any time to your Ideoligeon when creating it, you can spam them all to get development points to Reform.

Then when you do reform, delete all of them and add 6 new social events and it immediately resets the cool down and you can spam them again.

Repeat and prosper.

As a side note, if you are fond of solo or duo starts, there is a bonus to conversion attempts when there is only a single follower of your ideology in the colony. The default is x300%, and can be scaled between x100% and x500% in custom difficulty; with two colonists, the bonus is halved. If you run a solo game with a high-social pawn, they can convert most raiders in a day or two and then release them; I've gotten two reformations by barely more than a year in a few times now when lucky on not insta-killing raider dudes.

If you're feeling extra sassy, try the Spread the Word mod. you can apparently turn entire friendly factions to your ideology, although I've never managed it yet.
